Genesis Red Light, Cedar Park, TX
Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 28, 2026
Genesis Red Light, LLC ("Genesis Red Light," "we," "us," or "our") operates the website mygenesismethod.com and provides red light therapy, cryotherapy, and related wellness services at our clinic. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
By using our website, booking a session, or providing your contact information to us, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.
1. Information We Collect
Information you give us
- Contact details: name, email address, phone number, ZIP code, and any other information you submit through a form on our site (lead forms, trial booking, contact requests).
- Payment information: when you pre-pay for a trial or session, payment details are collected and processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers; we receive only a tokenized reference and the last four digits.
- Health-and-goal context: if you tell us about your wellness goals or relevant health context during a consultation, we log this in our client records to personalize your sessions. Red light therapy is a wellness service, not a medical treatment, and Genesis Red Light is not a HIPAA-covered entity. We still treat this information with care and do not share it with anyone outside our clinic staff.
- Communications: messages you send us via SMS, email, or our website.
Information collected automatically
- Device + browser data: IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, and timestamps.
- Cookies and similar technologies: we use cookies, pixel tags, and similar browser storage from Google (Google Analytics), Meta (the Meta pixel), Microsoft (Clarity), and the GoHighLevel chat to understand how visitors interact with our site and to measure ad performance. Section 5 names each one, what it collects, and how to opt out.
- How you found us: our site keeps a small note in your browser of how you first reached it (the website that sent you, any campaign tags on the link, and the first page you viewed) for up to 90 days, and adds it to the links to our online booking page so we can tell which ads and listings work. It contains no name, phone number, email address, or health information.
- Conversion events: when you submit a form, book a session, or complete a purchase, we send a corresponding event to Meta (the Meta Pixel and Conversions API) and Google Ads. These events tell our advertising partners that an ad worked — your name, email, and phone number are hashed (irreversibly scrambled) before they're sent.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Schedule, confirm, and remind you about your appointments;
- Process payments for trials and packages;
- Send you transactional messages (booking confirmations, reminders, receipts) and — only if you opt in — marketing messages about new services or promotions;
- Personalize your experience at the clinic based on your stated goals;
- Measure the performance of our advertising and improve our website;
- Comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes.
3. SMS / Text Messaging Consent
When you provide your phone number on one of our forms, you consent to receive SMS messages from Genesis Red Light at that number, including appointment confirmations, reminders, follow-ups, and marketing offers. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe; reply HELP for help. Frequency varies — typically 2–6 messages per month.
We do not sell or share your phone number with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
4. Who We Share Information With
We share information only with the following categories of service providers, each of whom is contractually required to protect it:
- GoHighLevel — our client relationship management platform; stores your contact info, appointments, and message history, and runs the chat on our website.
- Stripe — processes payments.
- Meta Platforms, Inc. — receives hashed conversion events through the Meta Pixel and Conversions API for ad measurement.
- Google LLC — receives hashed conversion events for Google Ads measurement and provides website analytics (Google Analytics).
- Microsoft Corporation — provides Microsoft Clarity, which shows us how visitors use our pages.
- Email and SMS delivery providers used by GoHighLevel.
We do not sell your personal information. We will disclose information when required by law (subpoena, court order, or government request) or to protect the safety and legal rights of Genesis Red Light or our clients.
5. Cookies and Tracking
Our website uses these tools:
- Google Analytics (Google): counts visits and shows us which pages are viewed, how visitors arrived, device and browser type, approximate location (city or region), and actions such as tapping to call or book. It sets cookies whose names start with _ga, which last up to 2 years.
- Meta pixel (Meta): tells Meta when someone views our pages or taps to book, so we can measure our Facebook and Instagram ads and show our ads to people who have visited. Meta may connect these visits to your Facebook or Instagram account. It sets cookies named _fbp and _fbc, which last up to 90 days.
- Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft): records how visitors use our pages (taps, clicks, scrolling, and mouse movement) as heatmaps and session replays, so we can find and fix confusing pages. We set it to hide what you type into forms. It sets cookies whose names start with _clck and _clsk, which last up to 1 year.
- Chat (GoHighLevel): if you use the chat on our website, the messages and contact details you type go to GoHighLevel and become part of your message history with us. The chat keeps an identifier in your browser so the conversation stays open as you move between pages.
The events our website code sends to these tools (a page viewed, a button tapped, a section of a page reached, a wait-list sign-up) carry no name, phone number, email address, or health information. Our website does not respond differently to browser "Do Not Track" signals.
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Disabling them may affect how the website functions. To opt out of Google Analytics, or of personalized advertising from Meta or Google, visit:
- Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on
- Facebook Ad Preferences
- Google Ads Settings
- Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out
Microsoft Clarity has no separate opt-out page: block its cookies in your browser settings, and see the Microsoft Privacy Statement for how Microsoft handles this data. To avoid the chat, don't open it; to clear its identifier, clear this site's data in your browser.
6. Your Rights
Regardless of where you live, you have the right to:
- Ask us what information we hold about you;
- Ask us to correct inaccurate information;
- Ask us to delete your information (subject to legal record-keeping requirements);
- Opt out of marketing communications at any time.
If you live in California, Colorado, Virginia, Connecticut, Utah, or another state with a comprehensive privacy law, you have additional rights, including the right to know what categories of personal information we collect, the right to data portability, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising your rights. To exercise any of these rights, email us at the address below.
7. Data Retention
We keep your information for as long as you are an active client and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with tax, accounting, and legal record-keeping requirements (generally up to 7 years for payment records). When information is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymize it.
8. Children
Our services are intended for adults age 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18. If you believe we have, please contact us and we will delete it.
9. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information, including HTTPS encryption on our website, encrypted-at-rest storage at our service providers, and limited staff access to client records. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows the most recent change.
